So this is my first post on this blog and I feel compelled to show you something that I have made while it (the handmade project) is in its infancy. Ta da! --->
That is a scarf I made as a gift for Christmas 2009. I used baby alpaca silk blend yarn. It was so soft I wanted to keep the scarf for myself.
I can't take credit for the beautiful pattern, though. It's from knitty.com. I think it's called "Falling Leaves" or something to that effect. Anyhoo, the project turned out beautifully, recipient was happy, and I got lace-knitting practice. Win, win, and win.
